Cross Talk with Baroness Arlene Foster of Aghadrumsee

 

For several years now, I’ve lived rent-free in the heads of the so-called rap group Kneecap. They’ve name-dropped me in lyrics, slapped my face on their concert posters — even strapped me to a cartoon rocket and sent me skyward in their promotional artwork. To some, it’s all part of their anti-establishment image. But look a little closer, and it becomes clear that this is more than parody or protest. This is cultural provocation laced with dangerous nostalgia for terrorism.
